HASTELLOY® X alloy (UNS N06002) is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum alloy that possesses an exceptional combination of oxidation resistance, fabricability and high-temperature strength. It has also been found to be exceptionally resistant to stress-corrosion cracking in petrochemical applications.
Hastelloy X coils are produced by rolling Hastelloy X alloy sheets or plates. Based on the production process, Hastelloy X alloy coils are available as either hot rolled or cold rolled. Once flattened, they can be further processed into plates and sheets. The standard finish for Hastelloy X cold rolled coils is 2B, while hot rolled coils typically have a No.1 finish.
