- Cold rolling of thin coils: The cold rolling of alloy is to further reduce the thickness of the hot rolled steel sheet and make it into a thin strip foil. It is divided into continuous cold rolling and batch cold rolling.
- Annealing of ultra thin foils: After cold rolling, the thin strip needs annealing to restore the mechanical properties lost during cold rolling.
- Slitting of ultra thin foils: The annealed strip is slitted according to requirements, and the width of the thin strip is determined by customer requirements.
- Packing and shipping of ultra thin foils: After the slitting, the thin strips are packed in wooden cases to prevent damage during transportation and storage.

What are Hastelloy Alloy C-22 Foils?
Hastelloy alloy C22 foil, also known as UNS N06022 alloy tape, is a versatile austenitic nickel-chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with enhanced resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking.
The most popular alloy strip is C22 foil because it combines the corrosion resistance of a pure nickel alloy with the flexibility and strength of a cobalt-chromium-based alloy.
This allows the material to be molded into a wide variety of forms while maintaining great resistance to oxidizing acids and chloride ion stress corrosion cracking at elevated temperatures.

What are Hastelloy Alloy C-22 Foil edges?
Mill edge is a non-trimmed edge appearance after hot or cold rolling and annealing/pickling process. It usually leaved an irregular pinhole line on the edge side around 10mm to 15mm.
Slit/slitting edge means we will trim irregular pinhole line on our slitting machine.
