Incoloy A-286 strip is a high-strength superalloy widely utilized in aerospace, petrochemical, and other demanding industries. Produced according to SAE AMS 5525 standards, this strip form of Incoloy A-286 offers excellent mechanical properties and high-temperature stability, maintaining its strength and toughness at elevated temperatures along with good corrosion resistance.
We supply Incoloy A-286 strip in various gauges and sizes. By default, our Incoloy A-286 is delivered in the solution-treated condition to support easier processing. However, if preferred, we can also provide it in the age-hardened condition based on your specific project requirements.

What are Incoloy Alloy A-286 Strips?
Incoloy A-286 (UNS S66286/W.Nr. 1.4980) strip is an iron-nickel-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum and titanium. It is agehardenable for high mechanical properties. The alloy maintains good strength and oxidation resistance at temperatures up to about 1300°F (700°C). The alloy is austenitic in all metallurgical conditions.
Incoloy Alloy A-286 Strip applications
The high strength and excellent fabrication characteristics of INCOLOY alloy A-286 make the alloy useful for various components of aircraft and industrial gas turbines. It is also used for fastener applications in automotive engine and manifold components subject to high levels of heat and stress and in the offshore oil and gas industry.
In the age-hardened condition, INCOLOY alloy A-286 has high strength at room temperature and retains high levels of strength at temperatures to about 1300°F (700°C).
