Monel 400 alloy foil is a high performance nickel based alloy foil. The high nickel content and high copper content contribute to the excellent corrosion resistance of Monel 400 foil.
Monel 400 also shows resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting in fresh water, is resistant to oxidization and can operate from cryogenic temperatures to 500°F.
Monel 400 foil is widely used in marine and shipbuilding applications.
